Raj Suri, an Indian-born Australian photographer, soft skills educator and multi-media professional with a diverse and impactful career. He serves on the Foreign Correspondents of Australia & South Pacific Association (FCA) Board, online editor, curating content and producing the FCA Members Talk podcast. As the Australian freelancer for Indian audiences, he bridges cultural connections. A seasoned photographer, designer, and digital content producer, Raj’s work spans photography, film, presenting, television, fashion, and education. Notably, he was commissioned by the Inner West Council in 2024 to document “First Generation Australians in Inner West Sydney – Raj’s photo essays on migrants of Haberfield now forms a permanent collection in the council’s libraries catalogue. More recently, in 2025, commissioned by FCA, Raj curated and designed the Behind the Headlines 40 Years Exhibition at UTS in Sydney.

His film industry experience includes publicity stills photography and co-producing Hindi features and judging Australian SBS TV’s “Bollywood Star” program. Raj also holds the unique distinction of being the sole Australian Indian actor in the Bollywood film “Shab” , which premiered in Australia in 2017. In 2003, he founded Miss India Australia, and continues to empower Indian women in Australia through mentorships and education, fostering their growth as inspirational role models in modern Australia.

Raj is the former judge/panelist of Australian TV series BOLLYWOOD STAR SBS  which was aired nationally in Australia in 2012
