First Slow Fashion Market, Inner West, Sydney

I attended the first Slow Fashion Market in my neighbourhood in inner west Sydney.
There are local Australian small businesses who are creating ethical and handmade fashion.

It was good to meet and speak with few designers at the market. Slow fashion does make sense, it  helps to counter “fast fashion” – which contributes to over-consumption and wastage of garments. There has to be a balance between economics and social resposibility. We all have to find ways to do our own bit..therefore, through my skills of branding and content, I try and create awareness, branded stories for the local fashion creatives and small businesses.

Besides that, it is always good to meet other local creatives I can engage with for meaningful conversations!
