India calling….who is coming?!

There is no doubt today India is the fastest growing large economy of the world and will continue to grow at high rate for at least few decades to come.

A federal AUSTRALIAN report ‘An India Economic Strategy to 2035’ – an independent report commissioned by the Prime Minister, says no single international market has more growth opportunities for Australian business than India.

All this is well and good for the big end town for Australian and Indian businesses. But what does it mean for individuals, small business enterprises (SME)?

I totally agree with Mr. Varghese when he says….”Australians of Indian heritage will play a key role in forging a stronger relationship between the two nations.”

I believe for real sustained growth, it will be driven by people to people connections. Cultural awareness of India for Australian businesses is so important.
Yes, it will not come easy… fundamental mind shift in Australia is required. Open minds, patience and a willingness to engage genuinely will prevail in the long term.

I really believe in softpower and softskills for any real progress.

I have lived in Australia for over 22 years with substantial time in India across the industry cross over lines of Entertainment (Bollywood), Fashion, Culture, Talent, Hospitality & Travel.

I am upbeat about Australia India – two countries I love and know well.
